We like to pose the answer to this question as a series of hypothetical scenarios:
If you needed surgery to remove a brain tumor,
would you cut into your own head and dig it out,

#03. How Do Your Prices Compare to Those of Other Résumé Companies?
At Enchanted Careers, we’re big believers of the “You Get What You Pay For” mentality. While there are certainly cheaper services out there, keep in mind that they’re often just that – cheap. When you use these services, your résumé is built by a résumé machine, essentially, and most of the time, the person or people who’ve created that machine are not résumé professionals. Your information is inserted into a template that looks and sounds like thousands of other résumés. That machine can’t provide you a custom, well-written, original résumé for such a low cost. That machine doesn’t care.
Not only do we craft exceptional documents, we also provide an in-depth experience, tailored to each client’s specific needs. Also, we try to keep our pricing as low as possible, without sacrificing quality, as we understand that job seekers often don’t have much money to spare. That said, we’re certainly on the lower end of the price scale, as we’ve seen pricing in our industry range from just under $100 to more than $3,000.

#04. Which Industries or Specialties Do You Provide Résumé Services For?
All of them. We’ve yet to come across a client that we couldn’t accommodate. No matter your industry or specialty, our team of writers can and will write you a winning résumé.
#05. What Happens After I Purchase a Résumé Service?
After you purchase a Résumé Service or a Résumé Package, you will be sent a confirmation email at the address you have provided at the time of purchase. This email contains not only your receipt, but also instructions for the next step you’ll need to take, which is our in-depth intake process.
Once you’ve completed the intake process, a Career Assistance Specialist will contact you to review the information you have provided, as well as to provide you information on how to receive your free consultation with a Career Coach. After all of your information is confirmed, you will be matched with the Certified Professional Résumé Writer from our team who is best suited for your career needs.
Your writer will begin work on your documents shortly after your match, and you may be contacted for further information or clarification during this process. Once a first draft of your documents is completed, you will be emailed the documents for approval. If there is anything you dislike, you have 10 days from the date of the email to request any number of changes be made to your documents. Once the documents are to your liking, we will email you the final documents.
#06. How Long Does the Process Take?
After we have received all necessary information to write your documents, we will return a first draft of your documents for approval in an estimated three to five business days. Our business days are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. We do offer priority services, which will deliver your documents to you within one to two business days, for an additional $100.00.
Some résumés require more time, some less, and that is why there is a varying estimated time frame. However, we do understand how important these documents are to your career search, as you are losing money for each day you’re unemployed. Because of this, we aim to produce your documents as quickly as possible, without sacrificing quality.
#07. Do I Get to Approve My Documents Before They Are Completed?
Absolutely. You will be sent a first draft of your documents for approval. If there is anything you dislike, you have 10 days from the date of delivery to request any number of changes be made to your documents.
#08. Do I Really Need a Cover Letter?
In this day of digital job applications, a lot of people will tell you that cover letters are no longer essential. We, however, know they are a great asset to your job search. It’s one more tool in your arsenal to impress the hiring party. A cover letter oftentimes shows more personality than a résumé, and it is a more conversational introduction to yourself, your experience, and your skills and abilities.
#09. What About a Thank You Letter?
Definitely. A thank you letter reminds the hiring party of your experience, shows you are truly invested in your career search, and by sending a thank you letter, it shows that you are not only polite, but that you’re persistent.

#10. Why Aren’t All of Your Résumés the Same Price?
Résumés with different levels of career experience require more or less amounts of work and time to complete, and that is reflected in our pricing.
#11. How Do I Know Which Price I Will Pay?
If you are a recent high school, college, or university graduate or current student, intern, or other type of novice, with little to no work experience, you would select an Entry-Level Résumé or Résumé Package. If you are, have been, or are aiming to be an experienced professional who is not in an authoritative-type position, you would select a Mid-Level Résumé or Résumé Package. If you are, have been, or are aiming to be in an authoritative-type position, such as a Manager, Supervisor, Director, Administrator, or something similar, you would select an Upper-Level Résumé or Résumé Package. If you are, have been, or are aiming to be in a chief executive position, such as CEO, CFO, COO, or another type of chief position, you would select a C-Level Résumé or Résumé Package.

#12. How Much Money Do I Save by Purchasing a Résumé Package?
Our cost-containing Résumé Packages are designed with built-in discounts that save you $125.00 in total, as opposed to separately purchasing all of the documents included in the package.
#13. What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and bank transfers via PayPal. We do this, as it’s an immediate form of payment. That means we don’t have to wait for your check to arrive and clear prior to beginning work on your documents, and you’ll have them in your hands much sooner.
#14. Do You Offer Refunds?
We do not offer refunds for our services, as every résumé service we offer comes with a post-delivery proofing period in which you have a set number of days to voice your opinions, wants, questions, or concerns. We do this so we can give you exactly what you want, while still keeping in line with our quality of services.

It most definitely is ethical, as long as the information you provide to us is accurate.
#16. Are Résumé Writing Services Tax Deductible?
They can be. Under Publication 529, certain expenses pertaining to your job search can be deducted. You can read more about this on the IRS website at: http://www.irs.gov/publications/p529/index.html.
We advise that you speak with a tax professional for more information, as we cannot professionally advise you on this matter.

At this time, we are only able to provide services to those located in the United States and its territories and outlying areas. If you are not located within our service boundaries, we will be happy to refer you to a Certified Professional Résumé Writer that can assist you.
#19. Where Are You Located?
We operate out of Palm Beach County, Florida, but we serve the whole of the United States.
#20. What Are Your Hours of Operation?
Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM EST until 5:00 PM EST, though we are reachable after hours and on weekends via email. If our hours do not suit your schedule, we will certainly work with you to provide services during your available hours. Regarding the estimated delivery time for your documents, please note that we use our Monday through Friday schedule for this time frame.

At this time, we do not offer in-person services, as we have clients nationwide, and we are structured to accommodate this.
